yet remain naggingly empty. It seems that we’ve been left to ourselves
to try to figure it out...by ourselves.
mensfraternity
exists to help men find the answers they’ve been looking
for. The Quest for Authentic Manhood is a 24-session journey
that equips men to live the life that God intended for them. During
this journey, men learn how to overcome some of life's painful wounds
and move forward embracing a clear definition of manhood and end
up developing a personal manhood plan. Along the way men will experience
a level of comaraderie that will result in meaningful friendships
as well.
Designed
to help a man embrace a bolder and more noble concept of manhood,
Quest also takes a man
inside himself to consider the forces that are shaping — or
misshaping — his personal manhood. In doing so, this 24-session
study empowers a man to heal life-hindering wounds while building
a more compelling vision of masculinity that will bless both
his life and the lives around him.
Quest
also fosters deep spiritual and emotional growth. This powerful
masculine experience strips away the myths of manhood to reveal
a man's true identity and pursuits. What's more, it's a proven
way to help men find a real connection... with each other,
with the church, and most importantly, with God.
Topics include "The Four Faces of Manhood"; "The
Wounded Heart"; "A Biblical Definition of Manhood";
"A Man & His Wife"; "Fathers and Sons"
and "Fathers and Daughters."
The QUEST begins with a retreat on September 24-26, 2010 (Fri, 5 PM - Sun, 12 PM) at Tahquitz Pines (http://www.tahquitzpines.com) in Idyllwild.
Price:$115 per person Cost includes 2 nights lodging (dorm style), 5 meals, a workbook, and activities (basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, hiking, and more).
What to bring: Sleeping bag/bedding, toiletries, Bible and pen, seasonal clothing, jacket, and enough of your favorite snacks to share.
The remaining sessions will take place at New Life. There will be two options offered:
>> Tuesdays @ 6 AM (beginning Sept 28)
>> Wednesdays @ 7 PM (beginning Sept 29)

Jeff's passion is to help people realize their identity

and live God honoring lives. He has been married to Jayme
for 17 years. Together, they enrich and equip married couples. He also loves being a dad to his son and daughter.

Fraternity Founder & Author | Dr. Robert Lewis
Dr. Robert Lewis has served as of Fellowship
Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas since 1980. He also
serves as Chairman of the Board of Fellowship Associates,
a church consulting and leadership training organization.
Dr.
Robert Lewis has served as Directional Leader and Teaching
Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Men’s Fraternity group he began there in 1990 started
with 30 members. Today, more than 1,400 men now gather each
week at 6 a.m. to join him for teaching and small group discussion.
In addition, this ministry is reaching men world-wide in churches,
on college campuses, in corporate board rooms, and in prison
cellblocks via audio and video. Robert's
greatest passion is to help men discover the biblical principles
of authentic manhood. Married since 1971, Robert and Sherard
Lewis reside in Little Rock and have four children.
