WE ARE FOURSQUARE

New Life Christian Fellowship is an interdenominational church in association with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. We are Evangelical in as we are centered on the truth of the Scripture. We are Pentecostal as we welcome the work of the Holy Spirit. We are "Foursquare" as we focus on the ministry of the Lord Jesus: Savior, Healer, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, and Coming King.

Ministering Wholeness:
Jesus Christ, the Savior

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him . . ."
| Isaiah 53:5
(also Titus 2:14, Isaiah 55:7, Hebrews 7:25, Isaiah 1:18)

Jesus Christ is the only hope for humanity. The salvation He brings begins with making a decision to become His follower. It is a decision which opens up a lifetime of being healed, restored, delivered from oppression, and set free to stand in spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness (Luke 4:18).
Ministering Power:
Jesus Christ, the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit

"For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit . . . you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
| Acts 1:5,8
(also John 14:16-17, Acts 2:4, Acts 8:17, Acts 10:44-46, 1 Corinthians 3:16)

Jesus charged His disciples to carry on the good works He modeled for them. He told them He would give them the power to spread the good news about Him. And He instructed them to wait until they received the power from the Spirit because they received that power from the Spirit because they would become witnesses in His authority and power. (Acts 1:8)
Ministering Healing:
Jesus Christ, the Healer

"He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. . ."
| Matthew 8:17
(also Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 9:5-6, Acts 4:29-30)

Jesus told His disciples to continue to do what they had seen Him do - heal the sick, raise the dead, bring deliverance to those who are bound. He promised that signs and wonders would follow them as they went to out minister (Mark 16:17,18).
Ministering Hope:
Jesus Christ, the Soon-Coming King

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout . . . the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."
| 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
(also Titus 2:12-13, Matthew 24:36-44, Hebrews 9:28, Luke 19:13, Luke 12:35-37.)

As Jesus went into heaven He left the promise that He would return to take His Church to live with Him forever. This is the great hope of those who believe in Jesus as Savior (John 14:1-3).
The overarching spirit of the Foursquare Church around the world is that of a family, rich in relationships. The attitude of humility, reverence and submission to the Father's will that rises to compassionate concern for others is Jesus' answer for the needs of our world. We seek to present Jesus to this generation in a manner that it can understand, with a message that answers its needs, and with a hope that speaks to its destiny. Today, there are over 3.5 million members and adherents in the Foursquare Church, worshipping in nearly 30,000 churches and meeting places in over 140 countries.
